• Reusable design – Unlike OEM, which is torque-to-yield and must be replaced after each use, the S&S bolt maintains its strength and integrity for multiple installations, saving cost and downtime.
• Rolled threads for maximum strength - Threads are formed by rolling, rather than cutting. This process improves grain flow, eliminates sharp stress risers, increases fatigue resistance, and results in threads that are 30% stronger than cut threads.
• Cold-headed from 8740 Chromoly steel - Delivers exceptional toughness, fatigue resistance, and durability compared to standard fasteners.
• High yield strength with low elongation – Prevents stretching under repeated high loads.
• Precision-machined for Harley-Davidson 2007-13' Twin Cam with updated compensator assembly, 2014-16' Twin Cam, 2007-'13 Twin Cam® - ONLY if used with a Screamin' Eagle compensator, and 2017-up M8.
